Travis Justice

Travis Justice was appointed to the Commission as an at-large commissioner, in January 2002. He is Senior Economist for the Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation (specializing in economic and tax policies affecting agriculture.) Born in Walters, Oklahoma, Justice holds a master's degree in agricultural economics from Oklahoma State University. He became an Arkansas resident in 1974 when he was employed by Farm Bureau. Justice was named Man of the Year in Agriculture in 1990 by the Arkansas Farm and Ranch Club and received the Distinguished Service Award from the Forage and Grasslands Council of Arkansas in 1986 and again in 1996. Professional affiliations include Farm and Ranch Club of Arkansas, Arkansas Forage and Grasslands Council, Ag Law Association, National Institute for Animal Agriculture, and the Arkansas State Fair. Justice also serves as administrator of the Arkansas Beef Council.
